I've always thought that first person perspective games are unnecessarily narrow in scope. This is partly why I'm looking forward to Mirror's Edge by EA/DICE. But also because it looks amazing and seems inventive and pushes game design a step forward. And because the heroine Faith is such a well-designed character, especially for a female character. She might just be up there with Alyx and Jade.
I also managed to make anoher speed line experiment of this picture. It seems like that even a faint suggestion of speed lines gives a good impression of motion. |

you can see it on the website link on my profile in the OME site
The drawing's simple and direct, and that line effect works brilliantly...you can practically feel Faith rushing at you, the viewer.

If you're looking for inventive ways to acrobatically humiliate opponents, I've discovered a way that imitates - believe it or not - Mario. If you leap high above an enemy and start to fall onto them, press Attack as Faith's ninja shoes touch them. Faith will crouch onto them and flatten them across the ground. There's even an achievement/trophy for it called 'It's-a me!'.

Do not screw with me. I happen to have Old Snake on my speed-dial.
