I've always thought that first person perspective games are unnecessarily narrow in scope. This is partly why I'm looking forward to Mirror's Edge by EA/DICE. But also because it looks amazing and seems inventive and pushes game design a step forward. And because the heroine Faith is such a well-designed character, especially for a female character. She might just be up there with Alyx and Jade.
I also managed to make anoher speed line experiment of this picture. It seems like that even a faint suggestion of speed lines gives a good impression of motion.
